Independent...Sassy...Fun loving...there's just something about her!  Legend received the AKC STAR puppy award at 9 months old, and went on to obtain her "Canine Good Citizen" certification at 11 months.  She loves to jump and be challenged mentally, I had always hoped to pursue agility with her.  Due to my own scheduling constraints we only made it as far as classes (which she LOVED) and the ACT1 testing. She never loved conformation, although she did earn her international championship and was about halfway to her AKC Championship. She always preferred performance events like rally, lure coursing, and barn hunt, although she has enjoyed coming back out as a veteran periodically. She volunteered as a therapy dog for several years at a local retirement home. She truly embodies versatility and has been an amazing mama to the puppies in her 2 litters.

Legend earned 2 more points and gained her AKC Field Championship from the veteran stake! 

2023:

Legend had a blast competing at the Arizona Rhodesian Ridgeback Club regional specialty in Prescott, AZ

2024:

Legend was 1st in the 11+ years old veteran bitch class at both Arizona Rhodesian Ridgeback Club regional specialties in Phoenix, AZ

Legend was 1st in the Hound Veteran Special Attractions Group at the Lost Dutchman Kennel Club show in Phoenix (a "close second" for Best Veteran in Show" according to the judge!)
